Johan Santana wins A.L. Cy Young award

Minnesota Twins pitcher Johan Santana won the American League Cy Young Award on Thursday.

Santana has now won the award two out of the last three years. He was an unanimous choice for the award this year. New York Yankees pitcher Chien-Ming Wang and Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Roy Halladay finished second and third respectively.

Santana is just 27 years old and thinks he can still improve. "In the future, I want to be consistent from Day 1. We're still making adjustments," Santana said. "I still believe that I can be better."
